Terms of use
Last updated: 10 October 2026 · App: Pixjar · Publisher: Atwa Labs
By installing or using Pixjar, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app.
1. What you get
Pixjar organizes the screenshots on your Android phone: it names and summarizes them, makes them searchable, sorts them into folders and helps you clear the ones you no longer need. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use.
2. The free plan and Premium
- The free plan has no time limit. It includes search, smart actions, every ready-made cleanup, up to 3 smart folders, summaries for your newest 20 older screenshots on the first scan, and 5 new summaries a month. These limits may change; the app always shows the current ones.
- Premium is a subscription, monthly or yearly, bought through Google Play. It adds summaries with no monthly limit (fair use, see section 4), as many smart folders as you like, cleanup by prompt, voice search and the home screen widget.
- Prices are shown in your local currency by Google Play and may differ between countries. Taxes are handled by Google.
3. Subscriptions, renewals and refunds
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions; Premium then continues until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies. If something is wrong, write to hello@pixjar.app and we'll help.
- Premium is tied to the Google account you bought it with, and works on your devices signed in to that account.
4. Fair use
Each summary is made by a paid AI service. Premium's "no monthly limit" is meant for a person's own screenshots: up to about 2,000 summaries a month is always fine. Far beyond that, for example automated use, we may slow summaries down.
5. AI summaries
With cloud AI on, titles, summaries, categories, folder matches and cleanup suggestions are written by Google's Gemini. They can be wrong: an AI can misread a date, a price or a name. Check anything important against the screenshot itself, and don't rely on a summary for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. If a summary is wrong or offensive, report it from the screenshot's ··· menu.
6. Clearing screenshots
Pixjar suggests screenshots to clear, but you decide: nothing is deleted without your confirmation. Cleared screenshots go to Android's trash, where they can be restored for 30 days (Recently deleted in the app); after that Android removes them for good. Some phones and memory cards don't support the trash; the app then says so and asks before deleting for good. Review what you clear: we can't recover screenshots once Android has removed them.
7. Your screenshots
Your screenshots and everything on them remain yours. You allow Pixjar to process them only to provide its features to you, as the privacy policy describes.
8. What belongs to us, and what you may not do
The app, its design, mascot (Visor), artwork, code and name belong to Atwa Labs. You may not copy, redistribute or resell the app or its artwork; modify, decompile or reverse engineer it, except where the law expressly allows; get around Premium or its limits; or use the app to break the law or anyone's rights.
9. No warranty, and limits
To the extent the law allows, Pixjar is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it is free of faults or that it works the same on every Android phone. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, and nothing here affects the consumer rights you have in your own country.
10. Third-party services
Pixjar uses Google Play (distribution, payments, updates), Google's Firebase and Gemini (cloud AI, crash reports, anonymous counts, feedback) and Google's ML Kit (reading text on the phone). Their own terms and privacy practices apply to what they do.
11. Ending this licence
You can stop using Pixjar at any time by uninstalling it; cancel a Premium subscription in Google Play as well. We may end this licence if the app is used in a way that breaks these terms, in particular section 8.
12. Changes to these terms
Updated terms appear at this address with a new date. Real changes are also mentioned in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
